Sunday, February 28th - Watching the closing ceremonies for the winter olympics. Gotta say, I'm
gonna miss watching Apollo Ohno . . . or should I say Apollo Oh Yeah. : ) Call me a cougar, but that
guy melts my ice! Enjoyed some sunshine - finally! - this weekend. Hope it's here to stay. The first miniature
daffodill has reared its little yellow head in the backyard and the tulips are coming up out front. I think I planted
pink ones this year, but that seems like so long ago it's hard to remember. Moving right along on my sequel
to Death, Taxes, and a French Manicure - the words just seem to be rolling off my fingertips. Gotta love it when that
happens!
Sunday, February
14th - Just returned from a fun trip to Shreveport, Louisiana where I presented my tax workshop to the NOLA Stars RWA chapter.
Had a great time reconnecting with writers Winnie Griggs, Connie Cox, Beth Cornelison, and Liz Talley. Great girls!
Took my guy along for the ride and had some fun - but no luck! - gambling at the casinos. Of course we brought
record snowfall with us from Dallas. Came home to some broken tree limbs, but that's a small price to pay for this beautiful
winter wonderland!
